Dan Mykols started his career in real estate in 1997 at a local bank in Michigan, Republic Bank. At Republic Bank he was responsible for writing quality mortgages for the bank. After his first year there he was awarded “Rookie Loan Officer” of the year, for producing the most production. Years later, Dan became one of the top producers for the bank and eventually got promoted to Vice President. In 2008, Dan and his family moved to Charleston, and shortly after were introduced to Bob Chambers. In 2010, Dan and Bob started a property management company, called Olde Towne Property Management. Dan got his Real Estate License shortly after and started servicing clients on the other side of the transaction as a Realtor. Today, “Dan the Real Estate Man,” assists clients all over the nation who are looking to relocate to Charleston. “It is such a pleasure and privilege to share our story of moving here from Michigan to out-of-towners, and so much fun to educate buyers about the greatest city in the world.” (Travel + Leisure in July, 2016 named Charleston the No.1 City.) Dan never forgets the challenge of moving, and does his best to minimize all the pressure involved with moving, such as having a list of local resources in the area from painters to bankers.
